Breastfeeding and Newborn Care Specialist
I am a wife to my amazing husband, a mother of my own three boys and a "mother" to many other boys and girls. I believe in non separation of the mother - infant dyad. Breastfeeding solidifies this. Psalm 22:9 David says "I learnt to trust, on the breasts of my mother". I have trained hundreds of undergrad and postgrad students over a period of 20 years at the University of the Free State in Neonatal Care. I love being an educator and see each student as freshly ploughed ground where I can sow seeds of knowledge as well as life lessons.
